Fuel surcharge |

Fuel surcharge (Bunker
Adjustment Factor (BAF)) |
|
Due to the development of the
fuel for vessels, we unfortunately have to charge a fuel
surcharge per crossing from the 15th June 2011 on the
Scandinavian routes. The surcharge will be adjusted
under consideration of market developments.
The fuel surcharge will be adjusted every 3 months. It
will be charged per bus per single trip on the
Rostock-Gedser and Puttgarden-Rødby crossings. The
current fuel surcharge will be stated in the booking
confirmation.
Bookings already made will not be subsequently affected
by the surcharge.
The fuel surcharge applies per bus and per single trip.
It will be separately accounted for in the bill and will
not be subject to discount or commission.

Green Investment Rate (GIR) |
|
A Green Investment Rate (GIR) is charged for ferry crossings on the
Rostock-Gedser and the Puttgarden-Rødby routes.
In 2021
the Green Investment Rate (GIR) for busses amounts to EUR
7,- per single crossing.
Scandlines’ entire fleet meet the new emission
requirements of IMO (International Maritime
Organization) that came into effect 1st January 2015.
Therefore, Scandlines invests several million euros in
sustainable technology on the ferry routes
PuttgardenRødby and Rostock-Gedser. The hybrid
propulsion system marks the start of a series.
Scandlines is investing in environmental technologies.
In order to continue the innovative initiatives towards
emission free ferries we through the Green Investment
Rate (GIR)
distribute a smallest possible amount on all shoulders,
thus aiming at a more sustainable ferry service. |

Errors and omissions excepted. Neither Scandlines nor
Silver Nimbus liable for deviating price representations
or schedules. |
